1

We kindly requests guests RSVP no later than August 14th, 2026

What if my plans change, and I need to change my RSVP?

2

How do I RSVP?

3

Just click the handy link at the top right of this website, or visit https://www.bruggegamberwedding.com/rsvp

Due to limited space, only those formally invited on your wedding invitation can be accommodated. Your full party will be shown on the RSVP form; just search the name of one member of your party, and all available guests linked to that party will be named. If you have a plus-one, they will be listed as “Guest” and you can provide their name during the RSVP process.

4

Can I bring a guest?

Unfortunately we are unable to welcome children outside of the wedding party, given the limited space and historic nature of our venue.

We hope you can use the event as a date night to get out and have fun!

5

Are children welcome?

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

6

We ask that guests be seated by 4:30. You may begin arriving at 3:50; prior to that the driveway to the house may be blocked, but parking will be available so feel free to enjoy Waveny’s beautiful grounds!

Venue & Logistics

What is the address of Waveny House?

1

Waveny House is located inside Waveny Park at 677 South Ave, New Canaan, CT 06840

Will the celebrations be indoors or outdoors?

2

Our ceremony will take place on the West Terrace which is covered, but open air, so will be subject to the outside temperature. Weather permitting, the cocktail hour will take place on the open veranda, with dinner & reception to follow inside the house.

Is there parking available?

3

Yes! There is plenty of parking at Waveny. However, there are several parking lots across the park, so if you are parking yourself, be sure you can see Waveny house from the lot - the lots by the baseball fields and dog park areas are quite a hike from the house!

Will there be transportation / shuttles provided?

4

Transportation will be available for guests leaving from and returning to our preferred hotels. If you would like to ensure space is available, please indicate that you plan to use the shuttle when you RSVP. More details on the shuttle will be provided on our Travel page.

Dress Code & Reception

What is the dress code for your wedding?

1

Our requested dress code is formal. Feel free to embrace the fall season and wear your favorite autumnal or jewel tones!

Not sure what constitutes formal? For ladies, formal generally means dresses with a hem from mid-calf to floor length, in an elevated fabric like velvet, satin, taffeta, etc. Elegant pantsuits / jumpsuits in similar fabrics are also very appropriate. For gentlemen formal dress calls for a tailored suit and tie; a tuxedo is optional but certainly not required!

Additional formal dress assistance can be found on The Knot.

Will I need anything extra (special weather gear, etc?)

2

October weather in Connecticut can be fickle, but early October is usually comfortable and mild, with crisper evenings.

Our activities will generally be protected from any rain, but at least our ceremony will be subject to the outside temperature. We recommend you bring a warm layer just in case! A coat check will be available inside the mansion so you do not have to carry your layers with you if we end up with a warm day.

For our ceremony, the West Terrace is - as the name suggests - western facing, and we’ll be kicking things off right at golden hour, so guests may want to bring some sunglasses in case the sunset decides to join us for the festivities!

Will there be a full meal or is this more of a ‘lite bites’ event?

3

Bring your appetite! We have an amazing caterer with lots of options to delight your palette.

Cocktail hour will include a variety of passed cold & hot hors d'oeuvres, followed by a two-course sit down meal at the reception. We’ll cap off the night with a variety of sweet treats.

What if I have special dietary requirements?

4

Our caterer is well versed in accommodating varying diets. You will be able to note any dietary restrictions & allergies when you RSVP so that we can accommodate you; we are also ensuring that our vegetarian option is kosher/vegan/gluten-free friendly as well.

Can I bring a gift to the wedding?

5

Your presence is our present, but if you would like to provide a gift from our registry, there are options to directly ship to us so you do not need to bring a gift with you!

If for any reason you are unable to ship, or would prefer to bring your gift to the wedding, there will be a small table where you can leave your gift or a card.
